Although based in Perth, we are building dreams – quite literally – throughout Scotland.
Our latest, brand new development is a little further afield than our other sites, located between Nairn and Inverness.
‘Tornagrain’ will create 5,000 homes as well as parks, schools, shops and offices, benefitting hugely from the planned dualling of the A96. What’s more, plans are also underway to create a train station at Inverness airport which will further increase the excellent connectivity of the town.
The designs of the houses hark back to local towns of old, taking their design cues from the best of what has come before and incorporating the latest in building methods to create warm, comfortable and beautiful homes. In addition to houses and apartments, there will also be commercial spaces which are essential for creating vibrant communities. Tennis courts and allotments are also planned to be delivered early in the life of the project.
What’s more, ‘Fibre to the Home’ broadband means that residents will benefit from some of the fastest residential broadband internet in Scotland.
Put simply, Tornagrain will be a very special place to live with its strong focus on community and beautifully designed homes and landscape.
When it comes to our involvement, Stephen will be building a selection of one and two bedroom apartments and two, three and four bedroom terrace, semi and detached homes, with plans to start building in September. The first batch of Stephen homes are due for completion in Spring 2017.
And when it comes to selling, we’ve recruited the best.
Andrea Mitchell (35), herself from Culloden, by Inverness, is the on-site Sales Advisor.
Having previously worked for two firms of national housebuilders for the last 12 years, Andrea really does have the experience needed to sell these amazing properties which she describes as enjoying a ‘very high standard both internally and externally.’
Of course, when it comes to sales, it’s crucial that the seller is passionate about the product.
Andrea commented, “It sounds like a cliché but I genuinely love all aspects of the job but the most rewarding element is being a part of my clients’ journey, from the very first meeting with them to handing the keys over to their beautiful new home. Having worked for other house builders in and around the Elgin, Nairn and Inverness area, I have found Stephen’s homes to be built to a very high standard both inside and out – essentially, a very high specification is standard when you buy a Stephen home.”
So looking at Tornagrain a little more closely, what does Andrea see as its main selling points?
She continued, “Tornagrain is a new and exciting development on the outskirts of Inverness that offers something completely different to what is on offer elsewhere around Inverness. This development will be at the heart of a rural community but only a ten minute drive from the heart of Inverness. What’s more, not only will the houses be finished to a very high standard, the communal areas will be set out beautifully with paths and walkways throughout the development with beautiful benches to take in the peaceful countyside.”
And on a practical level? Could Tornagrain provide what you are looking for?
Andrea summed up, “Clients can choose the floor plan that suits their needs, opting for a property that is not only brand new and under warranty but energy and cost efficient, low maintenance and offering exceptionally comfortable living with the benefits of advanced technology and design.”
