Community Matters

As a long-established family firm in Perth, it’s not all about building and selling houses.  It’s also about creating and cultivating communities.

This Summer, we are delighted to be supporting several local groups and initiatives.

We are especially proud to be supporting Luncarty Youth football team by sponsoring their new kits.

As a Youth Football Soccer School, the Luncarty squad has seven teams of players ranging from the age of four up to ten years old, who play five-a-side games on a Sunday at Perth Academy.  As a charitable organisation, all of the coaches are parents helping out on a voluntary basis.  Our support has helped purchase the team’s training tops – we wish them well in the months ahead!

Staying with the sporting theme, we are also proud to be sponsoring ‘Squadra Scozzese’, the Scottish Youth Cycle Racing Team.

Italian for ‘Scottish Squad’, the team was created to support young athletes in achieving their ambitions, helping them obtain results which could attract interest from national and international teams and ultimately being signed on professional contracts.

With their season now well underway, the boys have already won the Scottish CTT Team Time Trial Championships, won Silver and Bronze at the Scottish Youth Road Race Championships and taken first, second and third at the Tour Series Youth Support race at Motherwell.  Again, we wish them the very best of luck in their next events.

Last but by no means least, we were also delighted to support our very own fundraising cyclist.

Scott Rae, one of our joiners, cycled the West Highland Way on Friday 6th July, raising funds for the highly deserving Marie Curie Cancer Care. The West Highland Way stretches 96 miles (154 Km) from Milngavie to Fort William, taking in a huge variety of scenery along the way, from countryside parks to loch-shores and open moorlands to steep mountains.
