We would like to extend a warm welcome to our latest addition to the Commercial Team.
Ellie Jamieson has recently joined as Apprentice Estimator having studied a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Construction Management at Perth College UHI, where she gained an impressive 93.5% in her graded unit. She is now embarking on a HNC in Quantity Surveying and Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Estimating.
Ellie, who will assist with ordering and budgeting processes said, "I knew that I wanted to work within the construction industry but not in a practical role and the HNC gave me the opportunity to build more of a general insight of the industry. The apprenticeship aspect really appealed to me as I can further my education while I learn on the job, building my career prospects in the process."
Ellie joins John McCormack (Commercial Manager), Martin Soreide (Company Buyer) and Callum Laing (Buying and Estimating Technician).
